This is a busy time for us here at Dream Traxx. We are busy keeping our guys tuned up for the supercross season, as well as creating new tracks for the motocross season! Throw in having to tune up all of our repeat customers from the effects winter had on their tracks and you can say we are just flat out wide open!

We flew out to Trey Canard’s facility a few weeks back and built a brand new supercross track for him. We love working out there for Trey as he is probably one of the kindest and most down to earth athletes there is. He likes a top notch facility and it is always refreshing to see how well he takes care of his entire facility! Unfortunately, the weekend after we finished his new supercross track, he broke his arm in a crazy racing incident! Such a bummer. We wish Trey a quick recovery and hope to see him back out there for the motocross season!

After returning from Trey’s, we headed not too far from home to Baker’s Factory. We had already constructed 1 supercross track there, and another supercross pad, and did a lot of infrastructure work for the facility….Now it was time to build the motocross track! We sure had to put on our creativity hat for this one – lots of different challenges! Florida, flat land, dig the dirt, haul clay, battle Mother Nature….and the hardest – build for 4 of the fastest and most talented racers in our sport!! We wish Jason Anderson, Adam Cianciarulo, Ryan Dungey, and Marvin Musquin all the best this motocross season!

And…this weekend we just wrapped up a private amateur motocross track rebuild. This if for a family we have worked with before in Elkton, Florida. They are such awesome people to work for and are truly thankful for the hard hours we put in to bring them the best tracks we can!

We love what we do!! Stay tuned…as we fly out for a new build in Missouri next week!

Newcastle MotoX Complex in Australia

POSTED ON February 12th  - POSTED IN Blog

Well, 2014 has been a great start for the Dream Traxx crew. We had an amazing time in Australia, building a brand new facility that will change the face of Australian motocross! Newcastle MotoX Complex has big dreams and visions, and we were pumped that they asked us to be a part. They still have many steps to go before they open their doors to the public, but by the picture below you can tell they are off to a great start! We wish them all the best!

As soon as we landed back stateside, we were off and running to the private compound of Chad Reed. But, then we were reminded of how unpredictable Florida weather can be. With a few days of rain, we had to park the dozers for a bit and let things dry up. As the sun shone again, we got the dozer blades digging in. We had a great week of building, and as you can see below, were spoiled by being able to watch Chad train as we were building. Just as we were putting the finishing touches on the track, Florida’s unpredictability slapped us in the face once again. We received more rain in 15 minutes than we had the whole week prior. So, the finishing touches were going to have to wait a few more days!

Luckily, I had a stress relieving vacation already planned – and it could not have been more needed. It was time for our annual family ski trip, and after the past weeks at Chad’s, it was a great way to get my mind off of the chaos and spend some time with the family. We will be heading back to Florida on Saturday, and will hit the ground running to get all of our top guys tracks ready for east coast. But until then, I will be soaking up every minute of this…..

Red Bull, DHI, and Dream Traxx bring you STRAIGHT RHYTHM

POSTED ON November 15th  - POSTED IN Blog

We have had a whirlwind of a few weeks! From the compound of Trey Canard, straight to the “top secret project” (watch the video below), to Ryan Villopoto’s, over to the compound of  James Stewart and Malcolm Stewart, then Zack Freeberg, and on to a plane to Texas!

All those weeks went so smooth – there was bound to be a hiccup! And that there was, when I had to book a United flight instead of my typical Delta. I had a feeling something was going to go bad…and that it did. Landed in Houston, went to reboard, and get this “the plane is now overweight, we are taking no more passengers”!  Are you kidding me?! In all my years of flying, I have never had this happen. To make matters worse, they took all of our luggage on that flight. With no other flights out until the next day – we had to purchase another airline ticket, ON A DIFFERENT CARRIER, to get to our final destination – Odessa, Texas. Home of Friday Night Lights! We finally arrived, went and got our luggage, and are now halfway through the build. Stay tuned and we will post some finished pictures this weekend.

But, to go along with our rough trip out to Texas – we thought this was fitting….

And now on to the ‘Top Secret Project’. We were pumped to receive a phone call several months ago from Dane Herron of DHI. He was in charge of a project for Red Bull called Red Bull Straight Rhythm, and he wanted to bring on Dream Traxx to design and help construct this course. Needless to say, this was very exciting for the Dream Traxx crew. It put all of our hours playing Mad Skills, and ExciteBike to good use. This was such a fun course to design, more fun to build, and an absolute blast to watch the riders race down. Enjoy the footage below!

Bring on 2014 Supercross season!

POSTED ON November 8th  - POSTED IN Blog

The 2014 Supercross season is getting closer, which means we have been logging a ton of dozer hours! This is one of our favorite times of the year. All our boys are in full boot camp mode, and have a huge list of goals for the upcoming season. It is cool to see them all have that fighting spirit, and ready to make big things happen!

James and Malcolm Stewart are now able to be in full preparation mode since we just finished up 2 SX tracks for them…game time at the Stewart Compound!!
The dozer seats did not even have time to get cold, and we were back at it over at up and coming Zack Freeberg’s private SX track! Look for big things from him this year!
The whole Dream Traxx crew is looking forward to a much needed weekend off. Then we are packing our bags and jumping on the big bird off to our next track! Stay tuned!

Supercross season is almost upon us! That being said, we have been wide open taking care of all our riders facilities and getting their new tracks ready for training, testing, and continual riding!

Our first stop, was Trey Canard’s facility!

After working on a few other private facilities, our next stop was to Ryan Villopoto’s.

We head over to the Stewart compound bright and early in the morning! So, be sure to check back in to see what we create over there!

Dreamland

POSTED ON January 1st  - POSTED IN Blog

Welcome to 2013! We have been wide open here at Dream Traxx, but are bound to start the new year off right! We introduce you to DREAMLAND!! We built this facility for an up and coming amateur rider, Luke Renzland, and were all blown away by the results. We were given free range to design and do whatever we would like, and that is how Dreamland was made! We hope you enjoy the video made by the one and only, Vurb Moto!

We have tons of things in the ‘works’ for 2013, and will try our hardest to share, update, and post all about our creations. We wish everyone health, happiness, prosperity….and big whips for 2013 😉
