The rotating suitcase
The title of our post is where we are at right now!! Between maintaining the test tracks, building events, and keeping our riders taken care of – the Dream Traxx crew has just been rotating suitcases. We have been on one plane and in one state one week, home for a day or two, and then off to the next stop. Hence…the rotating suitcase!
We love this time of year, but it sure is busy. We do have a few open weeks until the end of the year -so if you are wanting a ‘Dream Track’ be sure to give us a shout and reserve your week now!
Oh Mother Nature!
In the past month, there has been a ton going on at Dream Traxx! During June, we had 3 crews running at one time! We had one crew member holding things down at Bakers’ Factory, while another crew was up in Kentucky at the Unlimited Off Road Expo, and then the boss man, Jason Baker was in Austin, Texas constructing for the X-Games! Man, that was a whirlwind of a few weeks!
After a few days off, Dream Traxx headed up to Georgia to redo a motocross track for an amateur racer! This job was quite fun for us at Dream Traxx. We love creating the private tracks, and even more so love creating for the amateurs. They are definitely the back bone of the sport and it is awesome to see them with so much drive and passion. Once the track was complete, we even brought up the youngest Dream Traxx crew member, Jace, to help test out the track on his new KTM 50. They had a blast.
Now – to the title of this post…..Oh Mother Nature! We flew back up to Kentucky the start of July to do some work at the Dirty Turtle Off Road Park. This was supposed to be a relatively smooth build, creating an off road track for their mega truck series race coming at the end of this month. Things started off great….and then She unleashed her fury! Rain, rain, and more rain. What started as a 1 week build, has now turned into a 2 week build chasing rain and wet dirt, and trying to construct the best course we can. Luckily, the past couple days have been dry, and we hope to bring this course to life by the weekend! So, stay tuned for finished track pictures.
Wide Open!!
We have been wide open in the track building world! From Kentucky, to Texas, to Florida – we have had 3 crews going at once. Stay tuned for footage from the Unlimited Off Road Expo in Kentucky, as well as some clips from X-Games Austin!
Motocross is coming!!!!
This is a busy time for us here at Dream Traxx. We are busy keeping our guys tuned up for the supercross season, as well as creating new tracks for the motocross season! Throw in having to tune up all of our repeat customers from the effects winter had on their tracks and you can say we are just flat out wide open!
We flew out to Trey Canard’s facility a few weeks back and built a brand new supercross track for him. We love working out there for Trey as he is probably one of the kindest and most down to earth athletes there is. He likes a top notch facility and it is always refreshing to see how well he takes care of his entire facility! Unfortunately, the weekend after we finished his new supercross track, he broke his arm in a crazy racing incident! Such a bummer. We wish Trey a quick recovery and hope to see him back out there for the motocross season!
After returning from Trey’s, we headed not too far from home to Baker’s Factory. We had already constructed 1 supercross track there, and another supercross pad, and did a lot of infrastructure work for the facility….Now it was time to build the motocross track! We sure had to put on our creativity hat for this one – lots of different challenges! Florida, flat land, dig the dirt, haul clay, battle Mother Nature….and the hardest – build for 4 of the fastest and most talented racers in our sport!! We wish Jason Anderson, Adam Cianciarulo, Ryan Dungey, and Marvin Musquin all the best this motocross season!
And…this weekend we just wrapped up a private amateur motocross track rebuild. This if for a family we have worked with before in Elkton, Florida. They are such awesome people to work for and are truly thankful for the hard hours we put in to bring them the best tracks we can!
We love what we do!! Stay tuned…as we fly out for a new build in Missouri next week!
Welcome to the new DreamTraxx.Com!
Well, we have been working on it for awhile! It’s definitely hard to work on a website when you are always in a bulldozer – but here it is. We have been putting in the extra hours in front of the computer when the equipment was put away for the night to bring you the new DreamTraxx.Com.
Our goal for the new website is to bring to life what we do, how we work, and the creations we make. We have tried to put alot of emphasis on the photo gallery to help show off the tracks we create. As a team, we will also be working together to help bring our ‘job’ to life by blogging about where we are and what we are building. So be sure to follow along and stay tuned for the crazy adventures of a Dream Traxx track builder.
The final goal of the new website, is to show the public that we are not unreachable. So many times we are contacted hesitantly by people thinking we only build for the ‘Pros’ or that are prices are out of reach – yet that is so far from the truth. Some of our favorite track builds are for the small amateur riders in their private backyards. We love to see the smiles on their little faces when they ride around their new track for the first time. As far as prices – we are very competitive within the market. We will build for any budget (within reason) and do our best to bring you the biggest and best Dream Traxx YOU can afford!
We hope you enjoy this sneak peak into our dirt filled world!

Dream Traxx teams up with Caterpillar Corporation

It all started with a dream. First, it was a dream to be a professional motocross racer. Then, it was a dream to become one of the best motocross and supercross track builders in the world. Now, it is Dream Traxx! Dream Traxx began over 10 years ago, when the riding boots were put away, and the dozer blades began digging in. After years of battling the ups and downs involved with running a small business, Dream Traxx owner Jason Baker received a phone call that made all of the years of hard work and dream chasing pay off. It was like, wow, I have actually done it. My dream is reality. That phone call was from Caterpillar Corporation, the industry leader in construction equipment throughout the world. The next few moments of the phone call left Jason speechless. “We are impressed by your work and would like to feature your company in our national ad campaign”, are the words Jason heard.
In case you do not know much about Dream Traxx, they are a construction company that specializes in the design and building of Supercross and Motocross tracks. They travel all over the United States, and to many other countries around the world. They often have very tight schedules that requires them to be in California one day, and Florida the next. So, owning all the pieces of equipment needed to build motocross/supercross tracks did not make sense for the company. Dream Traxx has relied on Caterpillar Rental since the very beginning.
When executives from Ring Power Caterpillar saw photographs and footage of the work Dream Traxx does, they were amazed at how their machines were being used in a whole new realm. Their equipment is known for creating roads, buildings, and many other types of construction projects. The work of Dream Traxx showed that their equipment is also creating works of art. This artistic dirt work also helps the top athletes of the sport pursue their dreams by having the best tracks in the world to train on.
After months of phone calls, meetings, emails, and scheduling – the Caterpillar Corporation and their filming crew brought an entire fleet of photo and video equipment to the training compound of multi-time champion Ryan Villopoto. They spent 3 days at the facility interviewing, filming, asking questions, watching the crew build, and finding out all about the sport of motocross and supercross. After their time there was complete, it is safe to say that a handful of new fans had fallen in love with our sport!
Dream Traxx hopes you enjoy this behind the scenes look at the company and their relationship with Caterpillar Corporation.
A special thanks to riders Kyle Chisholm and Zack Freeberg.
